Family History

This stone in common with Monument N05 is lying immediately outside the south door of the Kirk. Despite having been used as a doorstep for many years faint traces of carved inscription are visible on its face.

Without doubt a grave marker being put to another use, it is of considerable age and yields little clue as to its original owners.
