Family History

Situated on the pathway along the south facing wall of the Mearns Kirk, this stone, appears to have been a grave marker. Made of locally quarried stone and given its position, it has suffered from exposure to weather and foot traffic over the years. No discernable inscription or even mark is visible on its face and this situation is in keeping with other stones adjoining its position.
